Simran is an actress and producer from India. She has mostly acted in Tamil and Telugu films, with a few appearances in Hindi, Malayalam, and Kannada thrown in for good measure. In the Indian film industry, she is known for her dancing and acting abilities. Simran took a break from acting in films after her marriage and moved to the small screen, where she starred in Jaya TV's Simran Thirai, a series of mini-series starring Simran and featuring many popular actors such as Ramji, Raaghav, Saakshi Siva, and Abitha in supporting roles. She began acting in the Telugu serial Sundarakanda, which aired on Gemini TV in 2009, in which she played a guest role. Sundarakandam was the Tamil name for the serial, which aired on Polimer TV. She hosted Jackpot, a game show on Jaya TV that was previously hosted by Khusbhu and Nadhiya, in 2012. She appeared in Agni Paravai, a Puthuyugam TV serial. She is the main judge on the Zee Tamizh reality show Dance Tamizha Dance, which she and her husband Mr. Deepak Bagga produced.
